I Peter 5:6-11
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary
the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in
the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the
world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus,
after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].
To him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Proverbs 3:1-8
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days,
and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind
them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and
good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and
lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy
paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to
thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Trust in the LORD, and do good; [so] shalt thou dwell in the
land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the
desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring
[it] to pass.
Romans 8:32
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also
freely give us all things?
