Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let
not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Joshua 1:6-11
Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the
land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. Only be thou strong and very courageous,
that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee:
turn not from it [to] the right hand or [to] the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever
thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate
therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I
commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for
the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest. Then Joshua commanded the officers of
the people, saying, Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals;
for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the
LORD your God giveth you to possess it.
Mark 4:19
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things
entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
Matthew 6:19-34
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where
thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither
moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your
treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine
eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body
shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great [is]
that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other;
or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore
I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor
yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than
raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into
barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you
by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment?
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet
I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore,
if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven,
[shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying,
What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all
these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all
these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things
shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take
thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.
I Peter 5:6-7
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Philippians 4:6-7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall
keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Proverbs 12:25
Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
Psalms 46:1
(To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.)
God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear,
though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
[Though] the waters thereof roar [and] be troubled, [though] the mountains shake with the
swelling thereof. Selah. [There is] a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God,
the holy [place] of the tabernacles of the most High. God [is] in the midst of her; she shall
not be moved: God shall help her, [and that] right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were
moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob
[is] our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the
earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the
spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will
be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts [is] with us;
the God of Jacob [is] our refuge. Selah.
Romans 5:1-5
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By
whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the
glory of God. And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation
worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope; And hope maketh not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
